Moving towards a better future, together.

Results from the GSIF Annual Report for 2021

In 2021, countries where GSIF provides support have continued to suffer the consequences of the global crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many of the communities we serve have been affected by severe economic and social instability, leading to a rise in poverty and marginalization – issues that disproportionally affect girls, women and children.

In these challenging times, GSIF has continued to work with perseverance and innovation. We have addressed inequalities and human rights violations and have been able to extend our support to projects in areas like agribusiness, healthcare, training and leadership development. This support has provided food security, income generating opportunities and access to basic rights to a greater number of girls, women and children who live in increasingly vulnerable conditions.

The report highlights how more than 83,900 people worldwide have received direct support – an impressive 36% increase from 2020 – and how 107 newly established Good Shepherd projects in 31 countries have also been supported.
