Support the communities affected by floods

As a result of unusual heavy rainfalls, disastrous floods are sweeping through Kenya, particularly in the regions where the Good Shepherd Sisters serve over 7,400 women and children.

The floodings have affected over 380 000 people*, ripping the communities of their homes and livelihoods.

As thousands of people continue to be caught up in the ongoing heavy rains and severe floodings, the consequences of the catastrophe compound an already dire humanitarian situation for the communities dealing with food shortages, disease spread and severe droughts.

The Good Shepherds Sisters and their mission partners are on the front lines of the crisis, providing essential relief to the most affected communities in Nairobi, Meru, Embu, Kitui, and Kajiado.

We need your support more than ever to continue aiding those who need it the most.

Lebanon is experiencing a devastating economic crisis of the most severe in the world, forgotten by institutions and the international community. The labor market is collapsing, the poverty rate has now reached more than 80% of the population, and one million children are out of education. The work of GSIF and the Good Shepherd Sisters in the country for over10 years has been providing protection prevention and countering gender-based violence; access to medical care and education; emergency shelter, water and direct economic assistance for the most vulnerable families. However, this new emergency and continued demand for aid is causing even our essential services to collapse. Now, more than ever, it is important to support those most in need. Donate now to ensure that the work continues and that the most fragile receive all the help they need. Every small gesture can make a difference.
