19,960 ragazze e donne in Africa, Asia e America Latina hanno acquisito un livello di autostima più elevato e riescono a far valere i propri diritti nella famiglia e nella società ;
1,680Â women have assumed leadership positions within their communities, leading projects to raise awareness and promote their rights and those of their children.Â

28,000 girls, women and children actively participated in community-based programs, groups and initiatives including parents’ committees, football clubs, children’s parliaments, women’s leadership groups and groups to access credit and other forms of financial inclusion.
1,167Â active groups and community development programs that provide welfare services, foster social cohesion and offer protection to the most vulnerable members of communities, especially in Africa.
756 community initiatives and activities have promoted peaceful coexistence and inter-cultural inclusion.Â

Last year, the projects supported by GSIF continued to help the participants find decent jobs and build income-generating activities, to improve family food security.

12,670Â women, children and men, thanks to income-generating activities and nutritional schemes, including distribution of emergency food kits, have improved their food security and have a better diet.

Sviluppo organizzativo e delle competenze
Pur fornendo assistenza diretta e immediata alle comunità locali, GSIF ha continuato a supportare il personale e i partner locali nello sviluppo delle capacità , rafforzando la struttura organizzativa e le competenze per garantire l'efficacia, l'efficienza e la sostenibilità a lungo termine dei loro programmi.
In 2023, GSIF involved 2,132 staff members, sisters and lay partners working in the programs, in in-person or remote trainings and mentoring activities. In partnership with specialized consultants, the GSIF team and regional offices with local mission development offices organized and facilitated sessions, workshops and training packages on project cycle management, participatory monitoring and monitoring evaluation systems, finance and administration, Theory of Change methodology, child protection and safeguarding.
